Sustainability

Acting sustainably.
Securing the future.

Sustainable business practices secure our future. That of our company and also that of society. Consequently, it already defines the way we act and behave today. We use resources sparingly. And take our responsibility towards our staff and society seriously. Our goal is to create permanent values. And to leave behind an environment that is ecologically and socially intact for future generations.

  • Quality that sets standards.
Our products and solutions set standards in terms of quality, reliability and environmental protection. To ensure this, we systematically select high-grade materials. We always use tried-and-tested methods with proven innovative technologies. We always design with minimum tolerances. And always plan with suitable quality assurance methods. Our processes, products and services are subject to a continuous improvement process. We also use suggestions and ideas from our staff. And from our customers. Their feedback – from personal conversations and via large-scale customer surveys – flows systematically into our product and process developments. This enables us to tailor our products and services ever closer to your specific needs. And ensure that you always receive the quality you expect.
  • HSE: Quality, Health, Safety, Environment."
Quality, health, safety and environment are not just catchwords at WashTec. We assume full responsibility when it comes to quality, promoting health and safety at work and environmental protection. In-house in our everyday work and in all our business dealings and processes with our customers, partners, service providers and suppliers. We are conscious of the fact that quality is made by people for people. This is why our quality standards start with the promotion of health and safety at work for our staff. From road safety measures to ergonomically designed workstations through to preventive medical check-ups and WashTec health events. We integrate all our employees into our value system and encourage its implementation in everyday practical working life. We motivate everyone to integrate into our continuous improvement process.
  • Process and workflow optimisation.
All WashTec corporate divisions are continuously checked and optimised through internal audits as well as process and workflow checks. In addition, we employ a smart improvement and suggestion system, which specifically incorporates the experiences of our staff. Examples of optimised processes: • Regular, system-supported staging of safety training courses with comprehension assessment. • Alignment of workstations according to the latest standards in all areas – e.g. noise-reduced machines, with energy-saving lamps and ergonomic equipment. Likewise our technicians use a proprietary special scaffold "WashTec Tower" rather than normal ladders when working at height. • Regular road safety training sessions for our field staff, frequent drivers and customer service engineers. • Our product and information brochures are printed on environmentally-friendly FSC-certified paper sourced from sustainable forest management. • We use Deutsche Post's climate-neutral GoGreen postal service for letters and UPS carbon neutral for parcels.
  • Certified quality.
Our commitment to the environment, safety, health and quality is confirmed by numerous certifications and awards: • ISO 9001 certifies our responsible approach to quality management. • EN ISO 14001 certifies our environmentally responsible behaviour. • SCC (Safety Certificate Contractors) certifies the implementation of preventive measures for assuring the health and safety of our staff. •The VDA seal from the German Association of the Automotive Industry certifies that our car wash technology and washing chemicals exhibit a diminished risk of damage during the wash. • The customs status of the Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) certifies our exceptional reliability in observing customs regulations, a satisfactory accounting system, financial solvency and appropriate safety standards. • Participant in the “Umweltpakt Bayern” (Bavarian Environmental Pact). • Awards for high safety standards such as e.g. Schlaue Fuchs of the Timber and Metal trade association for introducing the WashTec Tower and the first-aid organisation; RoSPA PRESIDENT'S Award, as well as from such customers as Exxon Mobil, ABB, TOTAL and BPthe safety award for contractors for e-learning tool.
